The 2005 Statistician of the Year was Tony Webb for his work on the Minor County Scores Project, which was in the process of publishing full scores and statistics for the Minor County Championship since 1895.
After receiving the award, Mr Webb paid warm tribute to his team of assistants, especially Colin Munford, Michael Pearce and Andrew Lowe.
