First published in 1985, this popular series of books provides details of the First-class counties’ Second Eleven Championship and limited-overs competitions, with biographical details about all the cricketers involved in these games.
In addition to a Who’s Who for each team and an A-Z index for all of the players, they include potted scores for all the Second Eleven Championship and one-day matches in each season, together with comprehensive averages, statistical highlights and records for each competition.
All in all, this is a unique source of information about emerging players and others who are still to break through into the first-class game.

Note: In 2020, the Second Eleven Championship and inter-county T20 competitions were cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but a dozen friendlies took place during August and September 2020.
In the absence of any formal competitions, the ACS decided not to publish a Second Eleven Annual for 2021, but produced a pdf on Second Eleven Cricket in 2020 as an interim measure. The 2022 annual contained information about the truncated 2020 season and its players, as well as the usual information for 2021 and updated records.
